Today is the 30th of April in 2024 and my husband Allan and I now reside in Folsom, California. It is all new and different here from beautiful Nevada County. But it is exciting for me as an artist learning to paint the different flora and fauna. Oh, the very colors of shrubs and willow trees below our patio. A beautiful gray green we hardly ever saw in the pines and cedars. So, I am having all sorts of experiences experimenting mixing all the variations of green in my watercolor paints! Here are a few of the samples of the trees in our neighborhood plus the interesting beaver pond nearby.
